About my art

Mayumix Botanical Printing

Every design is as unique as the fresh leaves and flowers printed on the fabric. I use minerals and tannins to transfer natural colors and shapes onto fibers. It is like printing a photo directly from the leaves to the fabric. All plants are harvested sustainably in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind.

Color and Pattern

I experiment with natural colors derived from plants and wild mushrooms, the patterns of their leaves and to paint a collage of shapes and hues that decorate the fabric
