About my art

Botanical Eco Printing

Botanical eco printing uses minerals and tannins to transfer natural colors and shapes from plants onto fibers. It is like printing a photo directly from the leaves to the fabric. The plants are harvested by hand all around the San Francisco Bay Area, and each piece is handmade using natural dyes on silk. It takes several days process to make each scarf, and each piece is unique and cannot be recreated.

I play with wild mushroom and plants to extract the color from nature.

Color and Pattern

I experiment with natural colors derived from plants and wild mushrooms, the patterns of their leaves and to paint a collage of shapes and hues that decorate the fabric
